Funciones:

Provide Level 2/3 application support by diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex issues across production systems
Write and execute SQL queries and Ruby scripts to investigate data issues, perform corrections, and support business operations
Maintain and enhance existing Ruby on Rails applications, including bug fixes, minor feature improvements, and performance optimizations
Monitor system performance and logs, document solutions, and identify opportunities for automation and process improvement



Requisitos:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
35 years of experience in application support, software support, or software engineering roles
Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails with experience debugging and maintaining production applications
Advanced SQL skills with experience in data analysis, query optimization, and data corrections (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar)
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and ability to navigate complex codebases
Experience with version control systems such as Git and collaborative development workflows
Experience working with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic, Datadog, Grafana, or similar
Familiarity with REST APIs and troubleshooting integrations using tools like Postman
Experience with cloud environments (AWS) and basic knowledge of containers such as Docker or Kubernetes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
