Sustainability and External Relations: Our goal is to gain access to land, resources, approvals and capital Your impact You will help ensure our operations Yanacocha run smoothly by managing the administration of service contracts and supporting strong, compliant relationships with service providers. Through effective contract execution and monitoring, you’ll contribute to operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and value delivery across site activities. As part of our team, you will Support drafting, reviewing, and finalizing service contracts aligned with operational needs Coordinate contract execution and ensure obligations are understood and fulfilled Act as a key contact for service providers on contract-related matters Maintain accurate contract documentation and records Monitor contractor performance, timelines, and compliance with safety and environmental standards Identify contractual risks and support mitigation planning Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery Contribute ideas for process improvements and uphold safe work practices Prerequisites for your success in this role Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Business Law, Industrial Engineer or related field Experience in contract management, procurement, or sourcing — ideally within mining, energy, engineering, or industrial environments Knowledge of procurement processes, contract law principles, and supply chain practices Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and administration skills Solid experience with ERP/contract management systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba) Intermediate English proficiency and professional fluency in Spanish Ability to analyze data, manage multiple priorities, and mitigate risks Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management capabilities Commercial acumen and understanding of regulatory, environmental, and safety considerations Your work environment You’ll work as an individual contributor within the Supply Chain/Contracts function, collaborating with cross-functional teams, service providers, and community stakeholders. The role requires attention to detail, proactive problem solving, and commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement in a dynamic operational setting.
